Small Acts
This story is an entertaining, modern Islamic morality tale for children that discusses the importance of being merciful to other people and to creatures of all kinds. Small Acts is the fourth story of six in the Nooraldeen Family Series involving Sara and Adam, with a variety of other multicultural characters from among friends, family, and community members.
Following the story are references from the Quran and Sunnah relating to the moral of being merciful. Also included are suggested discussion questions to offer parents and religious school teachers ideas on how to use the story as a prompt for open dialogue that allows children to make personal connections and stimulate thought and learning.
