After the Fire
After the Fire is an entertaining, modern Islamic morality tale for children that discusses the importance of meaningful giving, of both the tangible as well as tangible - how giving, even by children, can offer powerful support and caring for others. After the Fire is the sixth story in The Nooraldeen Family Series involving Sara and Adam, with a variety of many other multicultural characters from among friends, family, and community members.
Following each story are references from the Quran and Sunnah relating to the moral. Also included are suggested discussion questions to offer parents and religious school teachers ideas on how to use the story as a prompt for open dialogue that allows for children to make personal connections and stimulate thought and learning.
