In two connected storylines, the main characters show mercy towards a new student who has no friends, and a hurt animal that they care for. Through their actions, the main characters teach other children in the story the importance of being merciful.
With realistic characters and events, Small Acts offers children the opportunity to consider moral behavior in a realistic life situation through an engaging story, with follow-up discussion questions at the end, as well as relevant selections from the Quran and Sunnah (approved by Al Azhar) for parents and teachers to help children make connections in how Islam guides our daily living.
